The baby is kicking so much these days. I always thought this was the part that was going to freak me out. I imagined the movie "Aliens" and something trying to punch its way out of my stomach...eck! But, surprisingly, it's not that weird. It's actually pretty amazing and wonderful. I'm at 24 weeks along now and 2 weeks shy of being 6 months pregnant! How did this happen? I mean, I know how it happened lol. But, I mean, how am I almost 6 months pregnant? Wow. Sometimes I can hardly believe it. It's already that time to sign up for classes, start getting serious about a name, register for the baby shower. It blows my mind how things can be so difficult and emotionally trying one second and then beautiful and hopeful the next. Life is weird that way. Not having control over circumstances is truly terrifying, but sometimes you just have to believe, trust and have faith that things will work out the way they are supposed to.
We took a trip out to AZ this past weekend to grab some stuff and even though it takes 5 1/2-6 hours on the road (each way) it was still fun. One of the coolest things? We bought the bike back with us! Yay! Rob strapped it in the back of the truck like a steel horse cruising through the desert. I heart that bike so much. I only got to ride on it a few times before I got pregnant and I can't wait to get back on. There is something unbelievably sexy about my man starting up the bike, the growl of the engine, cruising in the open air. It's really freeing and everyone should experience it at least once in their life.Even though we were exhausted from the trip and packing up stuff in AZ and then unloading in CA, we still managed to sit down and have some dinner together instead of running out to get grab fast food. It wasn't the most creative meal, but hey, you have to cut me some slack due to exhaustion. I threw together chicken teriyaki meatballs with fries (thank you again to Sams Club) and salad. After dinner (it's now about 10pm) my wonderful boyfriend kept on going and put the bed together! What a guy! I know he was completely beat but he still made it happen, and not one single grunt or groan! I opened up brand new sheets and made up the bed and ta da! The bedroom actually looks like a bedroom!

I heart the Jungle House. I heart my love and my cub. It's all coming together......happy zen land indeed!
I'm not going to say "I told you so", but.....
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy that you're happy and that everything is coming together.
Love your life. xxxxxx
