A couple of likeys

I'm usually a total shop-o-holic and it wasn't totally out of character to find myself purchasing a little something almost every day. I'm not talking tons of money, but it definitely adds up. Some make-up from Sephora, a cute shirt from Target, more white tank tops from Old Navy (can you have too many?) a pair of kicks from Payless, new shampoo and conditioner, even though I have 5 bottles at home (what can I say? I'm a sucker for packaging!) Lately though, I have been much more reserved and have been able to contain myself. It hasn't been too much of a struggle, but it doesn't help when a catalog is mailed to me with pretty shiny objects dancing on the page.

Urban Outfitters is one of those stores that I can always find something I like. They have great accessories and kitschy cool decor items. If you know me, you know I'm all about the kitsch. If it's totally weird and obscure to most people, there's a good chance I'm going to dig it.

Here are a couple things that caught my eye which if (I said IF) I was still in shopping-with-wild-abandonment mode, I may have ran right out and purchased. But for now, I'm perfectly content admiring them from afar.

I haven't seen any diaper bags that I like (where is it written that they have to be so...so...baby like? Eck!) so this would be my version. I love the color and the ability to wear as a messenger bag. $68.00
I love this coat rack because it reminds me of one we had when I was a kid. It comes in different colors, but I love the yellow. It's a nice pop of color without being overkill. $68.00

I love Buddhas. I have a small collection of them in different colors and sizes and I have to say, they just make me happy. Some are more traditional, others are more quirky. I think they're totally adorable and give me a sense of calm when I need it. This little guy wants to come home with me. No really, he does. I can see it in the gleam of his eye. He's like "psssst....buy me....take me home....we could be very happy together." Not only is he a rad little statue, he's also a light! Gimmie Gimmie! $38.00
