My parents are almost impossible to shop for. When it comes to birthday and Christmas gifts, it’s always an agonizing feat to try and figure out, what do you the people who have everything? Well, this year, we might just have found the perfect gift. I thought it would be awesome to get a professional photo taken of all the kids and grandkids. Sure, they have photos of us throughout the house, but not all in one photo and by a professional.
All the kids liked the idea, so Lexi contacted Joel, her wedding photographer. We all agreed on a price and picked a day to take the photo. Sunday seemed like the perfect day since my parents were leaving in the morning to go to Big Bear for a week. We thought using Stellagio would be a perfect backdrop for the photo. Everything was all set to meet there at 3pm, until they decided to leave on Monday instead. Lexi and I were texting back and forth in a panic, trying to find another location. Maybe outside near the beach? Well, of course today was the one day it poured down with rain. Why?!!!
We finally decided to just go to Luciano and Lexi’s house and take the photo there. It was pure chaos, to say the least. But, everyone did show up on time, and I think we managed to get a good photo to give to Mum and Dad. Joel is having it printed onto a canvas and I can’t wait to see the finished product!
