I have a natural tendency to have romanticise certain things. I think this leads to unrealistic expectations that in turn can set me up to fail. I like to think that everything will always work out in the end. I prefer to have a positive attitude about something, even if the chances of it being bad are pretty good. Some call that being naive. I call it having faith.
There are people out there that think if you are a dreamer, you have no sense of what's real in this world. I disagree. I believe if you have the guts to dream, to consider the "what if's..." you are opening up the world in front of you to endless opportunities.
I like being a dreamer, even if it does sometimes let me down. I will take that in exchange for all the hundreds of blissful moments it has given me over the years.
