This morning Dom was begging me to play "Candy Land" with him but I needed to get ready for work and make his lunch still. When I told him we'll play after school he said "but Mom, I wanna play now and I have no one else to play with!" Wow, pull at those heart strings why don't you? It's moments like this I wonder if I was selfish in not wanting any more kids and denying Dom a sibling. But then I remember how valuable sleeping is and know I did the right thing.
He was still whining "Mom. Mom. Mama. Mommy. Pulllleeaase play with me!" "No Dom, I'm sorry baby, I can't right now. Why don't you play ask Cuddles if she wants to play?" He thought about it for a second and decided it was a good plan. But then having second thoughts he said "no Mommy, because if I play with Cuddles she'll scratch the cards up." Pretty smart kid.
