Taking a risk is a scary thing. It's much more comforting to play the safe bet, to not go out on a limb. But I guess that's why they call it a risk. You just don't know how it's going to work out, It could be good, it could be awful. But isn't life all about learning more about yourself? Taking those risks in hopes that you can improve your current situation and environment? I'm the first to admit, it's a blind gamble. But you just have to ask yourself, what's the worst that could happen? Is it better to know and be disappointed or to always wonder your whole life? If you're even contemplating taking a risk, you must be feeling some kind of unhappiness or maybe just feeling like there's more. I think it's safe to say most will stay in their comfort zone of living a mediocre life because stepping outside the box is much too frightening. And there is nothing wrong with that, nothing at all. But for the few that take the chance on change, because they can't ignore the little voice in the back of their mind.....they should be applauded, not condemned. They should be celebrated, not whispered about behind their backs. Are people so afraid of change that they are willing to throw rocks at glass houses? Where's the love? Where's the support? Don't be a hater. Love thy neighbor and feel inspired, not threatened.
